Gujarat Titans v Mumbai Indians
LiveMumbai Indians need 42 from 28
Shubman Gill just ran out Naman Dhir with a side-on throw from cover, one stump to aim at, and Mumbai's chase has stalled at a point where 42 from 28 balls should feel comfortable. It doesn't. The new batter walks in to face Rashid Khan, who has already dismissed Hardik Pandya with his first ball of a second spell and conceded just 26 runs in what will likely be a four-over shift. The problem for Gujarat is they've burned through their frontline attack. Suryakumar Yadav, who made 53 off 30 before falling, took 13 runs off an over of part-time legspin from Sai Sudharsan, including an inside-out six that dropped the asking rate below nine. That over may prove decisive. Mumbai need exactly nine per over now, with Tilak Varma unbeaten on 24 off 17 and capable of closing this himself if he finds rhythm. Gujarat posted 189 thanks to Gill's 64 off 42 and useful contributions from Sudharsan (41) and Jos Buttler (38). Jasprit Bumrah's 2/29 kept them to a gettable total, but Mumbai have lost momentum at the wrong time. Watch whether Rashid gets one more over or if Gujarat are forced to gamble elsewhere.
